Visit Obidos

We began the visit in Batalha, where the Battle of Aljubarrota was confronted, between the Portuguese army and the Castilian army. As grateful for the victory, D. João I had the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória built, known as the Monastery of Batalha. We continue our visit to Alcobaça, a city surrounded by hills, where we will have the opportunity to contemplate the beautiful Monastery of Alcobaça. We continue towards the medieval village of Obidos. Where will we have the opportunity to visit emblematic places such as the Castel of Obidos. The Parish Museum of the Church of S. João Batista, the Portal of the Village of Óbidos, Church of the Misericordia and taste the typical drink of regions, the famous Ginja de Obidos, served in a chocolate cup.
